Quick, easy and "somewhat" healthy! |
Since I was thinking about a very quick pasta dish Century Tuna quickly comes to my mind but the next problem is, "okay I have the main ingredient now but what else?" then I searched our kitchen for ingredients and viola, this recipe.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can of Century Tuna Flakes in Oil (drained)
- 350 grams of spaghetti pasta
- 3 cloves of garlic (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1/2 tablespoon thyme
- 1/2 tablespoon rosemary
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Boil water in a pot, make sure it has enough water (at least 4 cups) and season it with a pinch of salt for flavor, boil until al dente or follow the package instruction. Set aside.
- In a pan put a little amount of olive oil, saute garlic and onion till caramelized.
- Add the Century Tuna Flakes in Oil and mix well.
- Add the pasta to the pan and mix thoroughly, throw in thyme and rosemary.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Finish it off with a dash of olive oil for additional texture.
OTHER VARIATIONS/TIPS
- Want some kick? Instead of using Century Tuna Flakes in Oil, use the Century Tuna Hot and Spicy.
- For more freshness, add chopped parsley.
